Are you an educational team leader with deep experience in outdoor environment work? In a new role, we are now looking for a decent and proactive supervisor for our outdoor environment team in the Väster district. At your core, you are an environmental steward working operationally together with colleagues on outdoor environment and waste management. On top of that, you have daily supervisory responsibility.

Poseidon is well known in the Swedish gardening world for its thoughtful and good outdoor environment work. Here, we focus on the development of our houses and courtyards, while showing zero tolerance for insecurity, littering, and graffiti. We are now looking for you who want to supervise our outdoor environment team with environmental stewards who maintain and care for our living environments in Väster.

In your role as Outdoor Environment Supervisor, you work operationally, like other environmental stewards, with the maintenance of outdoor environments and waste management, ensuring that the outdoor environment is perceived as attractive, clean, and safe. In addition, in your role, you have an extended mandate and responsibility to supervise and distribute daily work in consultation with the environmental steward coordinator. You act as supervisor when the environmental steward coordinator is temporarily absent, ensuring oversight, machine maintenance, repairs, etc. You also share responsibility for case handling and minor or ongoing orders with the environmental steward coordinator.

You will work in the daily operations of the Väster work team, which today consists of 13 people in its basic staffing, strengthened by two IMK employees and five additional seasonal employees from spring to autumn.

The area consists of just over 3.3 hectares of maintenance area in a mix of new production, extensive renovation projects, and established maintenance areas. You report to the environmental steward coordinator.

We are looking for you who are decent, pedagogical, and equally skilled at creating dialogue as at supervising. You gladly take a leading role where you listen to needs in a non-hierarchical way, distribute tasks within the group, and create conditions for a good work environment. You perform your tasks with non-hierarchical attitude, proactiveness, and precision, and are a natural player when it comes to leading and supporting the planning and execution of outdoor environment work in our areas.

For the position, we require:

• Category B driver's license
• Gardening education and/or at least 1 year of experience in outdoor environment maintenance
• Personal suitability with good leadership qualities
• Computer literacy
