School Psychologist for Mölndal City's Upper Secondary Schools

Mölndal City operates upper secondary schools and adapted upper secondary schools with a focus on safety, participation, and development for all students. Our operations are characterized by close collaboration between educators, student health services, and school leadership to create good conditions for learning and well-being.
The student health team consists of several professions working together to promote, prevent, and support based on students' varying needs. The school psychologist is a key part of this work, contributing psychological expertise at the individual, group, and organizational levels.
The position is permanent and part-time (50%). The assignment may be expanded as we grow and enroll more students.

Responsibilities
As a school psychologist, you will work with Mölndal City's upper secondary schools and adapted upper secondary schools. The scope and distribution of the assignment between the operations will be adapted based on current needs. You will become an important part of the school's student health work, collaborating closely with school leadership, the student health team, and educators to strengthen students' learning, development, and mental health.
In this role, you are expected to be visible and accessible in the operations, both for students and staff. You will contribute psychological expertise to promotional and preventive work and offer supervision and consultation to work teams and individual educators. As needed, you will also conduct supportive conversations with students and collaborate with guardians.
We view the school psychologist as a central actor in the school's development work and want you to actively contribute to developing the psychologist's role in a safe, inclusive, and health-promoting school environment.
As part of the student health team, you will, among other things:
- contribute psychological expertise to pedagogical, organizational, and structural issues
- supervise and consult school staff
- work health-promoting and preventive with a focus on students' learning, development, and mental health
- contribute knowledge about risk and protective factors as well as disabilities
- provide support and advice to students, guardians, and staff
- participate in the development and implementation of student health initiatives
- conduct psychological assessments and evaluations upon request from the principal
As a school psychologist in Mölndal City, you will also be part of a joint professional group, together with the primary school psychologists, coordinated by PLA. The group offers collegial support, experience sharing, and continuous external supervision.
You will work flexibly towards the upper secondary schools and the adapted upper secondary school based on the operations' needs.

- Registered Psychologist (Legitimerad psykolog)
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
