HUMLE is looking for a central hub and Customer Manager for a growing skincare brand
This is a broad role with sales and relationship building at its core. Some aspects are defined from the start, while others we will shape together with you based on your strengths.
About Us
HUMLE, part of Kalvsved AB, has been around since 2019. We manufacture and sell skincare for humans and animals, all in-house in Österbymo, where our physical store is also located. Our B2C platform is humlebutiken.se, and we are distributed through retailers and distributors across Sweden for both dog and human products.
We are a small team where everyone has significant room to influence. Our skincare is built on pure, well-thought-out ingredients and a care for craftsmanship, from recipe to finished product. We believe in closeness, both to our customers and to what we do. Here, you will get close to both the product and the people around it.
Sales and Relationships at the Center
You will maintain ongoing contact with our retailers and distributors, process orders, answer questions, and ensure they have what they need to succeed with our range. You will support the CEO in sales processes, our Marketing Manager, and production in planning, becoming a key player in how we grow our customer relationships.
Orders, Customer Service, and Store
You will pack and ship orders to end customers, retailers, and distributors, and handle customer service via phone and email. You are also responsible for our physical store in Österbymo, receiving customers and managing daily operations, adapting your work to the store's low and high seasons. You work daily with our e-commerce platform in Shopify (can be taught if you are tech-savvy) and are comfortable with all administrative aspects of the role.
Content and Marketing
Together with our Marketing Manager, you contribute to creating content and materials that highlight HUMLE, both to end customers and retailers. This can range from everyday photos and videos, product photography, and social media posts to sales materials and newsletters. The extent of this part of the role depends on your strengths and interests.
The Role Can Be Built in Three Levels
We see the role as something that can grow with you. Depending on who you are, the focus can land in different areas:
The Foundation: Customer Service, Orders, and Store. This is the base that is always included: order processing, customer service, our physical store, and Shopify e-commerce.
Next Level: Sales and Creative. You grow into more active sales work with retailers and distributors, and/or contribute creative content in graphic design, social media, photography, and film.
Senior Level: Strategic and Brand Building. If you have experience in international sales, strategic sales work, or graphic design focused on brand building, this is highly valued. It is not a requirement, but a bonus that opens the door to a more senior and driving role where you help shape HUMLE's direction. At this level, good English skills and a B-driver's license are advantageous.
Place in HUMLE Communications Agency
If you have experience as a creator, there is also an opportunity to join HUMLE Communications Agency, our agency that helps both our own retailers and other clients with communication and creative content. This opens up even more variation and development opportunities in the role.
What We Build Together
We are curious about you if you have interest or experience in any of the following, whether as an amateur, trained professional, or somewhere in between:
- Sales, preferably with international experience
- Graphic design, preferably InDesign and brand building
- Social media and content production
- Photography and film
- Store and interior design
You do not need to know everything on the list. We build the role based on our needs and your strengths. What you can and want to do is valued in relation to how you fit into the group and what your specific strengths can bring to HUMLE. The same principle applies to salary.
A strong interest in dogs, horses, or skincare is a big plus. So is if you enjoy attending trade shows and meeting customers in person.
Who You Are
You have strong self-leadership and thrive taking initiative. You have a bit of a project manager in you, like holding threads, driving things forward, and ensuring things get done. You are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and easily jump between different types of tasks.
HUMLE is located in the central town of Österbymo. Buses are available for commuting, but a car is an advantage.
How You Work
You work closely and sometimes together with the rest of the team. Through customer service and retailer contacts, you become our ears on the ground and a key link into production, development, and planning. You share customer insights with our Marketing Manager.
Practical Details
Scope: 75–100 %
Workplace: On-site in Österbymo, store hours apply, and weekend work may occur
Start Date: August 3rd or as agreed
