The LSS department is the third largest department within the welfare administration. Our mission is to implement decisions made under the LSS Act, primarily decisions regarding housing with special services, personal assistance, and day activities. Our goal is to promote equality in living conditions and full participation in society, enabling individuals to live as others do.

Our work is characterized by individually tailored support of high quality and respect for self-determination. A positive and respectful attitude permeates all our operations.

We are now looking for a positive, engaged, and goal-oriented support assistant for a full-time position at Durra in central Domsjö. Working hours are distributed across days, evenings, and weekends. Start date is by agreement.

We work with VAS (Workplace Adapted Schedules), which gives you the opportunity to influence your own schedule. Durra also coordinates planning with Bryggan and Järvhaga group homes.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for creating and following up on implementation plans, social documentation, and other administrative tasks in collaboration with the user. This includes scheduling, purchase orders, and matters concerning health and safety.

Together with your colleagues, you will carry out daily and planned support measures and activities. You will support and motivate the user in daily tasks at home and during leisure time. Building trusting relationships and being a good role model are central parts of the role.

You ensure that support measures are based on the user's individual needs, promote independence and participation, and are carried out with respect for privacy and self-determination. Your duties include helping with daily chores, personal hygiene, and medication. The work often involves working alone, and hours vary as we provide support 24/7, including evenings, weekends, and nights.

You drive development work forward together with colleagues according to set goals, methods, quality requirements, and guidelines. Collaboration with the user's network, other staff, and partners is an important part of the job.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a high school diploma in the Care and Nursing program (with specialization in disability or psychiatry), the Child and Youth program (with a focus on social or pedagogical work), or other equivalent education assessed as comparable.

To work in care and nursing, you must be at least 18 years old. We seek someone who can treat people professionally based on their individual conditions and needs. You are self-reliant, stress-resistant, and person-focused. You are empathetic, responsible, and a good team player. Good social skills and flexibility are valued. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Experience with AAC/PECS/supporting signs is an advantage.

A valid B-class driver's license is required for the position.

You must have sufficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate with users, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.

Please attach your CV and a cover letter to your application.
