The Role of Nurse Assistant

In this role, you will be responsible, together with a colleague, for three wards. There, you will provide nursing care and social support tailored to each resident's individual needs. By offering attentive and professional interaction, as well as planning and carrying out daily activities, you contribute to creating a safe and pleasant living environment for the residents.

You see opportunities in change, take initiative, and bring new approaches to work-related issues. You are empathetic towards people around you and have good collaborative skills. Personal suitability is of great importance.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a qualified nurse assistant
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent position with a start date to be agreed upon. You will work according to a schedule that includes night shifts and weekend shifts every other weekend.

The position is full-time or as agreed. Within the Department of Care & Social Services, all employees in home care and care and residential homes are employed at 100% engagement, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their engagement to the desired level based on operational needs. At night, a full-time position is 34 hours and 20 minutes per week.

Before an employment offer is made, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract required is "Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities". You can request this via the e-service of the Swedish Police Authority.

Background checks may be conducted prior to employment.

As of July 1, 2023, "nurse assistant" is a protected professional title.
