In the role of Mechanical Designer, you will work closely with production engineers in the business to develop aids and solutions for the production environment. You will become part of the mechanics team working close to the own production and will be responsible for developing, for example, fixtures, packaging, mock-ups, and other aids that simplify and streamline work in the assembly and verification phases.

The work is varied and involves many contact points where you need to be able to listen to needs, understand problem areas, and find the right solution together with the business. Often, the requester does not know exactly what is needed from the start, which means the role requires curiosity, communication, and creativity. You will work close to production and be involved throughout the entire process from idea and concept to finished solution.

For example, you will:

• Design aids for production such as fixtures, packaging, and mock-ups
• Work closely with production engineers to identify needs and develop solutions
• Participate in concept discussions and develop ideas together with the team and the business
• Create designs in CREO and adapt solutions based on production needs
• Collaborate with colleagues in different specialist areas and contribute to the team's joint development
• Be involved in improvement work related to functionality and production efficiency

• Have at least 1 year of experience in mechanical design
• Have practical experience working in the CAD tool CREO
• Have a post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, product development, or a similar field
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, as this is used in daily work

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from a production environment
• Experience designing fixtures or production aids
• Knowledge of production-adapted design
