About the role
In the role of Requirements Analyst, you will work with systems that handle and process large amounts of data used for planning the Swedish transmission grid. The systems the team develops are new, offering opportunities to influence architecture, design, and technology choices. The role serves as a bridge between business operations, IT, and the development team.
You will be part of an agile and cross-functional team consisting of requirements analysts, a Scrum Master, system developers, and testers. The team is a mix of permanent employees and consultants.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Capturing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements through workshops, user interviews, observations, and document studies.
- Breaking down requirements into manageable value-creating deliverables and defining acceptance criteria.
- Ensuring requirements are written in a way that is developable and testable.
- Working closely with various stakeholders such as users, product owners, business experts, architects, and development teams to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are clear, prioritized, and understood.
- Ensuring requirements are communicated and anchored with and among different requirement owners and stakeholders.
- Being responsible for the traceability of requirements throughout the entire development chain.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the team's working methods, documentation, and requirement processes.
- Supporting testing and quality assurance through, for example, requirement validation and review of test cases.
- Providing methodological support in requirement management to business specialists/requirement owners regarding both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Designing or revising work processes for the receiving organization.

Contribution/Challenges
The IT Division is responsible for support, operations, maintenance, and further development of the authority's IT support. The position belongs to the IK Department (IT for Power Systems & Electricity Market), in Section IKA (IT for Power System Analysis), located in a unit working with analysis applications. The unit comprises approximately 20 employees. The unit has development teams working agilely in projects and maintenance, and a working group responsible for architecture within the digital mission.
About you
Must-have qualifications:
Svenska Kraftnät has strict requirements for security and documentation, and we are looking for you who can approach the work in a structured way to ensure that the work follows guidelines. You should have strong analytical skills and be able to identify requirements for complex systems. With many stakeholders, you must also be communicative and have a strong willingness to collaborate.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your ability to collaborate, communicate, and drive the work forward.
Furthermore, you have a university/college education of at least 180 credits in Systems Science/IT, or alternatively a master's degree with a focus on the energy sector, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät considers equivalent.
You also have:
- At least 6 years of experience working as a requirements analyst in an agile context, including requirement documentation, requirement validation, working with user stories, acceptance criteria, UX, and traceability.
- At least 6 years of experience in impact mapping and prioritization, as well as facilitating and leading workshops.
- Experience with requirement tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or GitLab, and UX/design tools such as Figma, Axure, and Adobe XD.
- Ability to act as an agile product owner in a SCRUM team.
- At least 4 years of experience working in the energy sector.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- Education/courses in Electric Power.
- Several years of experience in requirement work within the public sector that is socially important and works with societal-critical infrastructure.
- Several years of experience in requirement specification in complex or security-sensitive IT environments.
- Experience in requirement specification related to data warehouses, data platforms, or data quality.
- Experience in requirement specification related to accessibility requirements according to WCAG.
- Certifications in requirement management (IREB) or equivalent, and in Scrum.
Good to know
- The position is located in Sundbyberg.
- Opportunity for remote work up to 50% (#LI-hybrid).
- Travel may occur to a limited extent in this position.
