Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centres in the evenings and on weekends, and the General Medicine Education Centre. We provide a broad range of primary care services, offering care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients in the terminal stages of life.

Borensberg Health Centre is centrally located in central Borensberg and has 6,200 registered patients. The health centre offers a doctor's clinic, specialist nurse clinics, nurse clinics, child health care, psychosocial competence, chiropody, and a laboratory.

We are also responsible for a number of nursing homes.

The Lyckorna and Borensberg health centres have a combined organisation with a joint management team.

In the spring of 2024, Borensberg Health Centre and Lyckorna Health Centre were merged with the aim of creating a robust operation.

Job Description

The role of MLA is approximately 20% and involves being responsible for high patient safety, monitoring the medical results of the operation, and investigating and preventing deviations. The MLA shall also assist the operations manager in medical matters and be responsible for attending the meetings and training required to fulfil the role. The MLA should be a good role model and representative for the health centre both internally and externally.

Work Group

We have well-functioning, well-equipped, and pleasant premises, as well as a development-inspired working method and provide a broad range of primary care services. The health centre offers a doctor's clinic, specialist nurse clinics, nurse clinics, elderly care clinic, child health care (BVC), psychosocial competence, dietitian competence, chiropody, and a laboratory. We are approximately 50 employees who enjoy working together in an open work climate. Here we work together with cooperation and respect for each other's competence; our goal is a work climate where everyone has varied tasks and can develop in their professional role.

About you

The requirement for the position is that you are a specialist in general medicine. You must have a Swedish medical licence (to be attached to the application), specialist certificate, and Swedish language skills corresponding to level C1.

Experience with the medical record system Cosmic is meritorious. We see it as an advantage if you have a few years of experience as a fully qualified specialist. If you have previous experience as a medical leader or have held other management functions, this is also meritorious.

A Category B driving licence is required. We see that various language skills are a success factor for meeting our patients.

As MLA, it is important that you are quality-conscious and meticulous. You should be self-reliant, take initiative, and be driven to implement what the management has decided. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
