RJ Mekan is a growing and family-oriented workshop in Tumba with over 30 years of experience in building and adapting trucks. The company has long had a strong focus on concrete mixers, tipper trucks, and specially adapted solutions for heavy vehicles. RJ Mekan is now expanding and further investing in the service and repair of heavy vehicles. Therefore, we are looking for a truck mechanic who wants to become an important part of our team. You will join a workshop where we work closely together, help each other, and ensure the customer receives work that lasts.

At our company, the work is varied. One day you might work on service or brake jobs, and the next day on troubleshooting, repairs, or welding. We work quickly when needed, but we never compromise on quality.

As a truck mechanic, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing service and repairs on trucks, trailers, and semi-trailers.

• Working on brake jobs, wear parts, troubleshooting, and general workshop tasks.

• Performing welding work and mounting superstructures on truck chassis.

• Repairing components such as gearboxes and other parts of heavy vehicles.

• Handling direct customer contact in the workshop and following up on work against orders.

• Working according to checklists and performing self-inspections.

You are responsible for carrying out high-quality work from start to finish. This means you troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and ensure that the job is done correctly. You work both independently and together with colleagues. You receive support from the team but are also expected to take responsibility for your own tasks.

At RJ Mekan, customer contact is important. Drivers can come directly into the workshop and speak with the person doing the job. Therefore, we are looking for someone who understands the importance of clear communication, precision, and keeping promises.

Desired Profile:

• Experience working with heavy vehicles.

• Experience working with machinery or similar vehicles.

• Experience with MIG/MAG welding.

• Category B driver's license.

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.

• Experience with troubleshooting and using diagnostic equipment.

Merits if you have:

• Category C driver's license.

• Experience with hydraulics.

• Experience working with ABS/EBS systems.

• Welding license.

• Previous experience in a smaller workshop or with broad workshop tasks.

Start: Immediately or as agreed. Working hours: 07:00–16:00. Location: Tumba. Employment type: Full-time, permanent with a 6-month probation period. Application deadline: June 30.
