About us

We are a general intensive care unit with 8 beds, where we care for patients from across the hospital – surgery, medicine, orthopedics, psychiatry, gynecology, maternity, and pediatrics. Our unit also includes the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), which provides a varied and dynamic work environment.

Your role with us

As a nursing assistant on the ICU, you are part of the team in close patient care. You work together with specialist nurses, anesthesiologists, and other professionals where every contribution is crucial.

The work involves, among other things:

• Care for critically ill patients
• Assisting with advanced treatment and monitoring
• Working with modern medical technology equipment
• Being an important part of the team's collaboration around the patient

This is a job that requires presence, flexibility, and care – but gives back at least as much.

We are looking for you who

• Are a trained nursing assistant with further education in emergency care (or equivalent).
• In addition to your nursing assistant qualifications, you need a certificate of your professional license as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) or a certificate stating that you were employed as a nursing assistant on a permanent basis on July 1, 2023.
• Are confident, calm, and have good communication skills.
• Have a good attitude and put the patient first.
• Enjoy working in a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Have the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing situations.
• Are curious and want to develop in your professional role.
