Service Technician for Freetrailer in Jönköping
Freetrailer Sverige ABJönköpings län, Jönköping
Previous experience is desired
Do you want freedom with responsibility in your daily life and a job where you truly make a difference with our partners and customers?
Freetrailer is growing in Sweden – and we are now looking for a Service Technician who wants to be based in Jönköping and become an important part of our Swedish service team.
At Freetrailer, we make it easy for people to rent trailers via our digital platform. Our trailers are located with strong partners across Sweden, and to ensure everything runs smoothly, we need you who enjoy being on the road, solving practical problems, and delivering great service.
About the job
As a Service Technician at Freetrailer, you will be our key person out on the roads. You are responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of our trailers in your area, ensuring they are always safe, clean, and ready for our customers to use.
You will be based from home in the Jönköping area and drive out daily to our various partner locations where the trailers are parked.
You will receive a fully equipped service vehicle that becomes your mobile workplace, and you will largely plan your own days.
Your tasks will include, among other things:
- Service, repair, and ongoing maintenance of Freetrailer's trailers.
- Ensuring the trailers are in good condition and ready for rental.
- Ordering and keeping track of spare parts.
- Communicating with our partners when you are on-site.
- Contributing solutions, improvements, and positive energy to the service team.
In short: you make sure the wheels keep turning. Literally.
Who are you?
We believe you are someone who enjoys freedom with responsibility. You thrive working independently but also enjoy being part of a team where people help each other and share experiences.
You are not afraid to get your hands dirty. The job takes place outdoors year-round – in sun, rain, snow, and wind – and it suits you who enjoy practical work where no two days are exactly alike.
We would like you to:
- Hold a valid B driver's license.
- Hold a BE driver's license – this is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Enjoy driving and thrive on the road.
- Be handy and have technical understanding.
- Be meticulous and take pride in a job well done.
- Be able to plan your own working days and keep order with inventory and spare parts.
- Be positive, service-minded, and good at talking to people.
- Be able to communicate with colleagues and contribute to a strong team.
Experience with trailers, cars, workshops, service, or similar is an advantage – but most importantly, you have the right attitude and are solution-oriented.
What we offer
At Freetrailer, you get a job with great freedom, significant responsibility, and a daily routine where you are out in the real world – close to our partners, customers, and products.
You will become part of a growing company where we combine tech, the sharing economy, and physical service. We have high ambitions, short paths from idea to action, and a culture where we help each other succeed.
You will get:
- An independent role with freedom with responsibility.
- A fully equipped service vehicle.
- A daily routine with variation and practical tasks.
- Colleagues in Sweden and other countries.
- The opportunity to be part of building Freetrailer's continued growth in Sweden.
