Närhälsan offers high-quality primary care close to home. With hundreds of clinics in Västra Götaland, we are close to residents throughout their lives and make a difference to their health. We care for you and offer development throughout your entire career.

About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Boda Health Centre – a health centre with a strong commitment to the whole person!

We now finally have the opportunity to welcome more district doctors to our team. Perhaps you are a resident doctor (ST-läkare) and soon to be a specialist, or already an experienced district doctor? Regardless of where you are in your career, we are looking for you who want to work in a positive, developmental, and team-oriented environment.

We are located centrally in Borås and have approximately 7,300 registered patients. Around 20 dedicated employees from various professions work here – together we create a workplace where collaboration, quality, and joy in work are in focus.

We have a clear health perspective and work actively both preventively and therapeutically. We value diversity, equal care, and respect for every individual. At Boda, there is a wide range of activities that create good opportunities for holistic care, such as senior health focusing on the needs of older patients, health coaching supporting lifestyle changes, a counseling clinic for mental health, nurse-based specialist clinics, and Child Health Centre (BVC) activities at the family centre.

We work purposefully with accessibility, proximity, medical quality, and professional conduct – both towards our patients and each other. Here, you have the opportunity to help develop the primary care of the future in an inclusive and forward-looking environment.

As an employee at Närhälsan, you are offered various forms of development opportunities, for example, through internal training and mentoring programs. Please read more about the benefits and perks we offer at Närhälsan: Link to our website (#)

About the Job

Your duties at the health centre cover a broad field and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with clinic reception, digital healthcare meetings, and home visits in primary care.

You and your colleagues in all professional groups form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in an stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervising resident doctors (ST and AT) and medical students; it is an important part of our mission to train tomorrow's healthcare personnel. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities, for example, through continuous further education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician and have specialist training in general medicine with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position.

We are looking for you who can work independently but still want to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good manner of dealing with people. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a matter of course to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work. Since we actively work to improve our methods to meet the needs of both employees and patients, we would appreciate it if you had a drive for improvement work.

Living up to Närhälsan's core values – Reliable, Considerate, and Innovative – is a given.
