The position is located outside Oskarshamn. Commuting weekly is highly recommended (we will help you with all practical arrangements!).

The Role

The role involves a significant amount of laboratory work, metrology, analysis, evaluation, material clearance, and documentation. It is a position that combines desk work (documentation) with practical work (laboratory work). If you are interested in radiation, physics, laboratory work, analysis, and want to work on something meaningful and useful, this is the perfect fit!

Requirements

Education: Hospital physics or an engineering degree with a focus on physics / technical physics, or something considered equivalent. Several years of education are required.

Experience: You should have experience with laboratory work and thrive with metrology, analysis, and data evaluation. Knowledge of radiation, nuclear power, detectors at an educational level, or practical experience from the process industry is advantageous.

You enjoy being part of a larger context but can also very well drive your own work forward and take initiative. You love learning new things and look forward to doing so with great curiosity. High sense of responsibility.

Driver's License

Required.

Language

Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing.

• The nature of the work means that you as a candidate need to be on-site for the most part, but flexibility for a weekly commuting arrangement is available.
