About the job
As a Workshop Technician with Manpower, working at our client's site, you play a central role in ensuring operational reliability, quality, and safety in the maintenance of freight wagons. You work with both preventive and corrective maintenance, contributing to safe and reliable production.

Examples of tasks:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to documented standards
• Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct inspections and overhauls of mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Work according to drawings, diagrams, and instructions
• Document completed work and maintain necessary documentation for follow-up and quality assurance
• Report deviations regarding working environment, traffic safety, and quality, and immediately inform management of any critical deficiencies
• Supervise the workshop's equipment, machinery, tools, and premises, and initiate maintenance and improvements
• Actively participate in improvement work and contribute suggestions for improvement
• Work in accordance with current working environment requirements, focusing on safe working methods and behaviors

Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, and has a practical and problem-solving approach. You are responsible, safety-conscious, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating with others. You take responsibility for reporting deviations and seek support when uncertain about safety, working environment, or quality. You are curious and have a desire to develop both technical solutions and working methods in a workshop environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Experience working with drawings and diagrams
• Knowledge in troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and overhauls
• Ability to perform and analyze measurements according to standards and document results
• Experience working according to documented standards and documenting completed work
• Good awareness of working environment and safety aspects, as well as habit of reporting serious deficiencies to management

Merits:

• Technical education in workshop technology, mechanical engineering, or other relevant field
• Experience with maintenance systems and electronic deviation or documentation management
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and quality standards
• Experience in improvement work or driving smaller development projects in a workshop environment
