Coop Väst AB has just over 930,000 members and currently operates 184 Coop stores with a combined net turnover of approx. 9.3 billion SEK. The association area is from Strömstad to Laholm in the West and from Västervik to Borgholm in the East.
Coop is one of Sweden's largest employers with many challenging jobs. We are in an exciting change journey to be able to meet future food customers just as well and just as naturally in our physical stores as on Coop.se.
The ongoing change involves extra many challenges, but also opportunities. And you are never alone. If there is anything we are particularly proud of, it is our employees. By having successfully recruited many competent employees, we work together towards the future.
The new Coop should stand for attractive store experiences with affordable food, strong own brands, a unique membership program, and clear leadership in ecology, health, and sustainability. In short: We want to be the good force in Swedish grocery retail.
With approx. 650 stores in Sweden and 3.4 million members, Coop is Sweden's only member-owned food chain.
We value the qualities that an even age and gender distribution as well as ethnic and cultural diversity bring to the operations.
