About the Role

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to start immediately with our partner, based in either Gothenburg or Västerås.

In this role, you will become part of a collaborative and solution-oriented team where you will play a key part in ensuring material supply for the company's maintenance and service commitments. The work is varied and involves close cooperation with several internal functions, such as procurement, engineering, quality, and health & safety, while maintaining regular contact with both customers and suppliers.

The role places a strong emphasis on daily material planning and flow management, while you are also expected to contribute to the development of working methods, structures, and improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for material planning and ensuring material availability for daily operations
• Support and develop the team, driving improvement initiatives in collaboration with colleagues
• Optimize inventory levels and ensure efficient material flow for maintenance operations
• Collaborate closely with internal functions such as engineering, procurement, quality, and warehousing
• Contribute to process development, as well as the launch and implementation of new projects and working methods

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in material planning/procurement
• Proficiency in ERP systems and the ability to analyze data to monitor and improve operations
• Ability to lead and develop teams with a focus on collaboration and improvement
• Goal-oriented with the ability to see the big picture while handling operational tasks

About the Employment

This is a consulting assignment for an initial period of 10 months with the possibility of extension, where you will be employed as a consultant by OIO.

• Scope: Full-time, office hours 07:00-16:00
• Start: Immediately
• Location: Gothenburg or Västerås
