Your daily life as an SOS Operator in Security & Emergency Services
In the role of SOS Operator within Security and Emergency Services, you handle and respond to incoming calls regarding various types of fault reports for properties, municipalities, and private customers. Additionally, you receive and handle various types of alarms, such as burglary/assault and technical alarms, etc. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, can handle stress, and have a strong sense of structure and responsibility, you might be the one we are looking for!
Training
To ensure the right prerequisites for success as an SOS Operator, employment begins with comprehensive training at our training center in Kista, interspersed with practical training at the central station where you have a supervisor. Therefore, you must be able to be away from home for a few weeks as the training is conducted physically on-site in Kista. We cover all costs associated with travel to our training center.
We are looking for you
Who is responsible, appreciates clear guidelines, is self-assured, and decisive. The role of alarm operator involves collaboration with colleagues and external actors, which requires good teamwork skills. You are a friendly and attentive person who finds it easy to talk to people. Furthermore, you are empathetic and professional, which means you collaborate and take responsibility in your professional role.
Since SOS Alarm's operations are conducted 24/7, the SOS Operator position is a round-the-clock role, meaning you will work days/evenings/nights and weekends.
We require that you
Have at least three years of work experience
Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Have good knowledge of English, especially spoken
Are computer literate and enjoy working with various and complex systems
Have good multitasking skills as the job requires handling several tasks simultaneously
It is an advantage if you
Have experience from an alarm center or similar
Have experience working irregular hours

The position is a full-time role starting in mid-October, with a 6-month probation period.

SOS Alarm conducts background checks and security clearance with register control on its personnel according to the requirements of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). A control according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies is also performed and is active during the employment period. A drug test with no remarks is a prerequisite for employment. The position also involves war-time placement at SOS Alarm.
