About the Role
Securitas is now looking for guard force officers for assignments to protect vital societal functions in Sweden. This is a role for you who are not just looking for a job – but are ready to take on a task with great responsibility and real significance for our country's supply and security. It is about protecting what must function – 24/7, year-round.
As a guard force officer, you play a crucial role in maintaining the security of operations that are important for Sweden. You work with extended powers, often in close collaboration with our clients.
The work is varied and can include both static and patrolling security, access control, or work in a security control room. You will need to make your own decisions in critical situations, have good stamina, and sound judgment. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has the ability to remain calm when others do not – and who is loyal to Swedish interests.
Guard force security is conducted both indoors and outdoors, day and night. Shift lengths vary but are often set in 12-hour shifts according to a rolling schedule. Since we operate in a business that runs every day of the year, working every other weekend is common.
Requirements
To be employed, you must meet certain basic requirements. You must have approved upper secondary school grades in Swedish (Swedish 1). Since the role involves driving, a Category B driver's license is also required.
We do not intend to train guard force officers within the framework of this recruitment, but would prefer that you already have a valid civil or military guard force training. If you have completed the training within the Swedish Armed Forces, for example as part of the basic training (GMU), it can be validated for civilian use. Note that the guard force training and GMU must have been completed in 2016 or later, and the certificate of training must not be older than five years at the time of application.
Specifically requested requirements:
- Approved grades in Swedish and English from upper secondary school (Swedish 1 and English 5 or equivalent).
- Category B driver's license.
- Valid civil or military guard force training.

Security Clearance
Note that the position is classified and implies that you will undergo a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to current regulations, security interviews, background checks, and register checks will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities according to the Security Service's regulations and guidelines. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment of you, your life situation, and financial circumstances when assessing your suitability.
In some cases, a corresponding check may be conducted on the person you live with or have a similar relationship with.
To be considered for the position, the following requirements must be met (at minimum):
- You do not appear in the Swedish Police Authority's various registers, e.g., suspicion register, criminal record register, etc.
- You have a sound economy; you have no payment defaults, unregulated debts, do not appear with collection agencies or the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden).

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you must have approved upper secondary school grades in Swedish and English and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company (the application is made by Securitas). It is a requirement to have a sound economy and no unregulated debts.
