About the Operations

At the health center in Sollefteå, we work daily to help the local residents. Together, we strive to achieve our vision of life, health, and sustainable development in Västernorrland. We are now looking for a counselor to join our team.

As a counselor, you are the first-line contact for mental health issues within primary care. The work is independent, but you also function as a key part of our psychosocial team. In the team, you have colleagues within the same profession as well as collaboration with psychologists, doctors, and other professions within primary care. We place great importance on preventive work with different groups, for example in the areas of anxiety, depression, crisis support, pain, stress, and sleep.

Job Description

We offer you stimulating and varied work where you work both independently and as part of our psychosocial team. We work broadly and flexibly with patients of all ages. As a counselor, you are the first point of contact for mental health issues, and we see great value in preventive work against anxiety, depression, crisis support, pain, stress, and sleep disorders.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as a social worker or behavioral scientist.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits

• Has studied CBT Step 1.
• Has work experience within primary care.
