About the Assignment

This assignment is part of a larger program related to the future Nordic balancing model and the development of smarter, more automated support systems for operations and planning.

The focus is on developing:

• Forecasting models
• Predictive and prescriptive models
• Decision support for operations and planning
• Applications for bottleneck management and bid filtering
• Production-ready ML solutions with high quality and traceability

You will work through the entire ML lifecycle – from analysis and model development to deployment, monitoring, and further development in a production environment.

Responsibilities

You will, among other things:

• Design and develop ML models and predictive solutions
• Implement pipelines and frameworks for model production
• Work with quality assurance, logging, and reproducibility
• Develop applications for forecasts and decision support
• Work with operations, lifecycle management, and improvement of ML models
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders
• Contribute with analyses and scenarios for operational planning

You will primarily work with:

• Python
• Machine Learning
• Docker
• Kubernetes / OpenShift
• Azure DevOps
• Linux
• CI/CD and automated deployment processes

This is a consulting assignment with a 6-month probationary period, followed by a permanent position. You will be employed by A-Talent Tech Stockholm. We are looking for someone who has

Requirements

• An academic degree in fields such as mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or technical physics
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Very good knowledge of Python
• Practical experience with Machine Learning in a professional setting
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment flows
• Good proficiency in Linux
• Very good Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with time series analysis and forecasting models
• Experience with ML in production environments
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes in production
• Experience with backtesting environments for ML algorithms
• Experience with graph databases or graph theory
• Experience from control room environments or critical societal systems
