We are now looking for an Activity Coordinator for Villa Idun – and you can have two different profiles: 👉 assistant nurse with activity responsibility 👉 or activity pedagogue/health pedagogue

You will work on both developing and implementing meaningful activities together with our residents. Working hours are primarily daytime Monday–Friday, but some evening and weekend work may occur for special events.

As an activity coordinator/activity pedagogue, you create activities based on the residents' needs, wishes, and resources. Your goal is to contribute to quality of life, participation, and well-being.

You:

• Lead and develop the activity offerings of the operations

• Responsible for activity councils together with activity representatives

• Plan and implement joint activities and celebrations

• Support colleagues in creating activities in everyday life

• Responsible for social media (e.g., Facebook and Instagram)

• Build networks with local actors, volunteers, and organizations

• Drive development work and projects, e.g., via grant funding

You have close cooperation with the operations manager and are part of a network with activity coordinators within Vardaga.

Villa Idun offers 54 places for elderly people with dementia as well as care places. We also offer short-term accommodation. 👉 www.vardaga.se

• Trained assistant nurse

• Experience in elderly care, preferably dementia

• Interest in activities, social content, and well-being

• Flexible and can support in care when needed

• University education in e.g., health pedagogy, public health, or culture

• Experience in leading activities or projects

• Strong interest in health promotion work

Meritorious:

• Experience with social media
