Maintenance Worker for Leisure Facilities in Östra Göinge Municipality

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a maintenance worker for our leisure facilities. In this role, you will primarily work with the ice hall, sports halls, and outdoor pools.

Tasks related to the ice hall include, but are not limited to:

• Maintenance and care of ice surfaces, including ice resurfacer operation
• Daily supervision and minor repairs of premises, changing rooms, and technical installations
• Operation and monitoring of refrigeration systems and reporting of operational disruptions
• Cleaning and tidiness inside and around the ice hall
• Preparation and follow-up work for training sessions, matches, and events
• Service and contact with clubs, leaders, referees, and the general public
• Snow removal and anti-icing measures in winter

On-call duties may occur.

Outdoor Pool:

• Daily supervision and maintenance of pools, including water quality control (chlorine, pH, and temperature)
• Operation and minor maintenance of pumps, filters, and purification plants
• Cleaning and sanitation of pools, changing rooms, toilets, and other areas
• Maintenance of green areas such as mowing grass and removing weeds
• Minor repairs to buildings and equipment
• Preparation for the opening and closing of the outdoor pool season
• Service and hospitality for visitors

The maintenance role also includes minor repairs, installations, room adaptations, and general service to operations and tenants.

The computer is a natural work tool, and technical troubleshooting is part of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

If you think this is a job that appeals to you and where you feel you can contribute, you should have:

• Upper secondary education
• Experience in property maintenance, building maintenance, or technical work is meritorious
• Experience with ice resurfacers and refrigeration systems, as well as pool and water purification, is meritorious, or alternatively, a willingness to learn
• Basic IT skills and good knowledge of the Office package
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• A B driver's license is required
• A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police record) is required
