Your new workplace
Do you want a meaningful and important job? Make a difference – we need you who wants to work as a casual employee (hourly substitute) at the Youth Department's youth clubs within the Culture and Leisure Administration. The Youth Department has the municipality's mission to work with young people's cultural and leisure activities, which also includes responsibility for the municipality's youth clubs.
This autumn, several youth clubs will operate during weekends, and the Youth Department is in need of casual employees who can work primarily on Friday and Saturday evenings.

How you contribute in the role of Youth Club Leader
In the role of casual employee, you work together with permanent staff during evenings at the youth clubs and, if necessary, at events. The work as a casual employee includes, among other things:
- Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for young people.
- Plan and conduct activities.
- Build relationships that strengthen young people's participation, health, and responsibility.
- Participate in events if needed.
- Work weekends, especially Friday and Saturday evenings.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for you who have a youth club leader education or other equivalent education, as well as documented experience in youth work. If you have a strong commitment through interests or hobbies, it is an advantage. Technical and practical skills are important; we expect you to be proficient in using Office programs and digital tools. A Category B driver's license is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience in the event industry as a stage manager or sound and lighting technician.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
