Why this job is for you Because you like the idea of working like a product company while enjoying the variety that comes with being a consultant. It’s about delivering products and services as a team, where knowledge sharing is at the core of everyday work. All code is reviewed, with fast decision-making paths and great freedom, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills. The team is self-managing, so how the problem is solved is up to you. You and your team choose the technologies needed to solve the task, not the other way around. Ultimately, it’s about giving you the chance to focus on what you love most – solving technical challenges.
All projects, whether they involve autonomous vehicles, medical technology solutions to fight cancer, or a streaming service, have one thing in common: they are all cloud-based solutions and products.
You will work within the Software & Cloud business area, where we help customers develop future-proof, large-scale computer and software systems across the entire IT landscape – from electronic devices and networks to data-driven enterprise applications supported by AI and cloud services.
About the role In this role, you combine your technical expertise as a Senior Data Engineer with a more strategic and leadership-oriented role where you help build our data offering. You work practically on assignments while acting as an advisor in customer dialogues and contributing to shaping our long-term strategy within data and AI together with partners such as AWS and Databricks.
Examples of your responsibilities:
Design and build scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT flows in cloud environments
Develop data solutions with a focus on code quality and software development principles
Work with data modeling and data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake
Integrate and automate data flows between systems and APIs
Participate in the entire development cycle, from implementation to production-ready solutions
Contribute to our partnerships
Act as a strategic advisor in customer dialogues
Qualifications We are looking for you with strong technical competence in data engineering who wants to take on a more leadership and advisory role. You are comfortable in customer dialogues, drive solution design, and thrive switching between hands-on development and strategic work.
We would like you to have:
A university degree in computer science or similar
At least 4 years of experience in software development (e.g., Python, Typescript, or Java)
Experience building or working with modern data platforms and data pipelines
Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, or Databricks
Experience with modern data or infrastructure tools such as Snowflake or Terraform
Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
