We now offer you an opportunity you must not miss! Come to our fantastic school and work together with knowledgeable and professional colleagues to teach our students in grades 3–9 in Music.

We work cross-curricularly for meaningful learning. We have seen that studying an area simultaneously in several subjects in different ways significantly increases retention and the desire to learn. For example, music is created for media projects; when ninth graders read about the Second World War in Social Studies, a character is created in Swedish, illustrated in art class, and music is created for the presentation. This creates a meaningful whole, and all students have the chance to absorb information in many different ways.

We believe that working with tasks and problems from contexts outside of school is important. Together with other colleagues, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the various projects and pedagogical work at the workplace. This creates a positive community and more eyes seeing each child from different perspectives.

Are we looking for you?

Innovitaskolan Södertälje is looking for a driven and positive teacher who puts student learning at the center. We want you to be curious and solution-oriented. You have the ability to create interest and a desire to learn, and you meet every student where they are. You are engaged in your students' development and want to drive the development work regarding your subject at the school. You inspire joy in work and contribute to development through close leadership.

Music is part of the school's culture, so we are looking for you who also want to help develop our traditions and other musical activities at the school. We have, among other things, a very well-attended Christmas market every year where we perform the year's Lucia, and at the school closing ceremony, music is at the center. You thrive on seeing students grow with their tasks.

Creating good relationships with students and colleagues is seen as a natural part of your daily life. Your work includes being a mentor. You are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Music.

The position is a 100% permanent position. We apply a 6-month probation period. Start date: August 10, 2026.
