ABOUT THE POSITION

At Rehabassistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Timrå. The shifts are scheduled on weekdays and weekends. Currently, we are looking for hourly substitutes who can work extra when needed.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 08:00-15:00
• 15:00-22:00
• 22:00-08:00 (Awake night)
• Weekends 08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00 (Awake night)

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a 15-year-old girl who has a great interest in playing and activating herself with her toys. She lives with her parents and siblings and needs your support as an assistant in her daily life as she has Angelman syndrome.

The tasks include:

• Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
• Help with mobility and tube feeding
• Motivate and encourage during play and training

The client uses a power wheelchair, standing frame, shower chair, electric wheelchair, manual wheelchair, and tube feeding.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license + access to a car
• Non-smoker
• Tolerant of pets

MERITS

• Previous experience working as a personal assistant/other care experience

Employment level: 3 hourly substitutes

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you need to have a BankID and approve using your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of no criminal record (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of no criminal record from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
