We are looking for a Unit Manager for General Case Processing Support within the Business Support Department. The department is responsible for information management, archives, scanning, general case processing support, procurement, office services, premises supply, physical security, and sustainability, and consists of approximately 450 employees.
Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace
As a Unit Manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the public sector values permeate your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.
Your unit consists of business developers who manage and develop the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's general case processing system in close collaboration with operations and IT. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of contexts, direction, and the target images set by the department, and develop the plans your operations need. As a Unit Manager, you are a support for the Area Manager, and you are part of the area's management group where you contribute with your competence and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you who are to work with us have a high level of security awareness.

- have experience in operational leadership
- have experience in leadership in similar operations
- have worked on driving development and management of case processing support in a similar operation
- have good knowledge of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's case processing support
- have experience of cross-functional collaboration in a larger organization
- have experience of leading remotely
- have experience of close collaboration with manager colleagues remotely
- have a good understanding of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's mission.
