About the role You work in a team together with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff. Your task is to provide quality of life. You see every individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs.

Together with our physiotherapist, you form a rehab team responsible for Vardaga's three residences: Villa Soldalen and Villa Hertig Knut in Halmstad, as well as Villa Havsglimt in Skummeslövsstrand. As an occupational therapist, you find, together with the residents, the best ways to use their own abilities in everyday life. You support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their physical, cognitive, and social abilities. This often involves assessments and adapting the living environment. You also test and prescribe physical and cognitive aids. You will supervise your colleagues in rehabilitation efforts, approaches, transfer techniques, etc. You often also have contact with the residents' relatives.

About Villa Soldalen In September 2023, Vardaga opened the newly built elderly residence Villa Soldalen, located in Eketånga near Söndrum in Halmstad. Villa Soldalen offers permanent housing for both care and dementia. Here there are 60 apartments, common areas such as a banquet hall and a small roof terrace, and a large garden with planting opportunities and possibilities for both relaxation and activity. Vardaga's goal is to offer the best possible care and support for those living with us. Through our holistic concept for elderly care, The Good Day, we provide our residents with individualized care based on consideration, integrity, and choice.

• Dementia Certification: We will become a dementia-certified residence, which means that everyone working here will be trained in dementia and interaction via Dementia Academy. You will also undergo this training.
• We apply fixed schedules where the occupational therapist's working hours are daytime Monday–Friday.

You are a licensed occupational therapist, and we would like you to have a few years of experience in elderly care. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is required. A driver's license is required.

• Start date: The position is a parental leave replacement for one year, and the start date is by agreement.
