About Us

Närhälsan Stora Höga Health Centre is centrally located within walking distance of both train and bus. We are an established unit with approximately 7,000 registered patients and are now looking for a Specialist in General Practice. At our centre, district doctors, nurses, district nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, and psychologists work together. We are accredited within Västra Götaland's primary care.

We are located in a growing area in Stenungsund Municipality and collaborate closely with Närhälsan's health centres in Stenungsund and on Tjörn. We work in a team-based manner with a focus on continuous improvement and high quality in patient care. About the Role

Your duties at the health centre span a broad field and encompass general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with clinic operations and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

We have a team-based approach to provide equal care to all our patients, while also striving for continuity. The collaboration between the professions at the Health Centre is very strong, and we work with the goal that everyone gets to work at the top of their competence and develop continuously. Asking and learning from each other is a big part of our daily routine.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in an stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes mentoring ST (specialist training) and AT (internship) doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to train tomorrow's healthcare staff. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities, for example through continuous further education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician and have specialist training in General Practice with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare.

We are looking for you who can work independently but still wish to participate in the development of the operations and view the continuous development of our working methods positively. In your work, you meet many different patients, so it is important that you are responsive and have a good manner of dealing with people. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a matter of course to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work. We also expect that you live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Considerate, and Innovative.
