Onsala Home Care operates in a beautiful natural area just outside the city center. We drive electric cars to our care recipients and offer free parking for those who commute by car. Here, you become part of a strong team where respect, collaboration, and joy in work are central. Onsala Home Care consists of approximately 40 employees, and within the team, there is high competence, a strong sense of responsibility, and two unit managers working with shared leadership.

The Role of Assistant Nurse, Care Assistant, and Helper with Us

You will be part of an organization where collaboration and commitment are prominent. We work based on the "Kungsbacka Model" – a working method where care staff, together with care recipients, design interventions and plan time based on their individual needs and wishes.

Your Profile

You have a genuine interest in working with people. You contribute to the experience of security through reliable and professional interaction. You are comfortable handling technical solutions in daily work and have the ability to create participation in the daily lives of those we serve. As a person, you enjoy working independently, can adapt to changing circumstances, and see possibilities in everyday life. You like working in teams where everyone is equally important and enjoy working in a dynamic and exciting operation. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• is at least 18 years old
• holds a valid driver's license (Category B)
• communicates well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent position with start date according to agreement.

Regarding day and evening shifts as well as weekends: The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Health & Care, all employees in home care and care housing are employed at 100% capacity, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their working hours to the desired level based on operational needs. The schedule includes day shifts, evening shifts, and every other weekend.

Before an employment offer is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is "Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities". Background checks may be conducted prior to employment.

As of July 1, 2023, "Assistant Nurse" (Undersköterska) is a protected job title.

Therefore, when employed as an assistant nurse, you must present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) to use the title assistant nurse. Please apply now if you do not already have this.
