We are growing to provide more patients with timely orthopedic care. We are now opening a new care team within orthopedic inpatient care in Falun and are looking for nurses who want to help build the future of orthopedics with us.

We operate 24/7, with shifts scheduled for days/evenings and, as needed, nights. The positions are permanent full-time (100%) roles starting as agreed. A nurse with mixed rotation has a weekly working time of 38:15 hours, but this can go down to 30:15 hours depending on the number of night shifts.

As a nurse here, you will provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Overall responsibility for the patient during their stay
• Wound care, pain relief, and mobilization
• Preparation for surgery and follow-up after the procedure
• Medication management
• Patient safety, documentation, and development work in daily practice
• Interprofessional collaboration with nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, etc., as well as with other care units

Requirements:

• Registered nurse or currently studying with graduation in spring 2026.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
