About the role

In the role of Master Data Lead, you will have significant authority to build and manage a modern, cross-functional master data structure, initially focusing on product information. You will handle data from a clear business perspective and become a central player in structuring and future-proofing their information flows.

Key Responsibilities

You will work both strategically and operationally with data quality and improvement initiatives. You will operate in a complex landscape characterized by large flows and public procurement, acting as a bridge between business and technology through clear requirement setting and prioritization of needs related to master data and the PIM platform.

Your main tasks include:

• Setting and leading the overall master data strategy, closely linked to the commercial business as well as the data and analytics strategy.
• Establishing and communicating a clear structure and setting up forums to anchor processes, roles, responsibilities, policies, and standards.
• Leading cross-functional collaboration and change work to create understanding of the value of good product data and to anchor new, data-driven ways of working in the organization.
• Establishing and further developing efficient, scalable processes for how data is created, quality assured, maintained, and decommissioned.
• Defining, monitoring, and reporting KPIs for data quality.
• Building strong collaborations with key functions that use the data.
• Setting up data structures that benefit automation, improved information flows, and the use of AI within the area.
• Ensuring that regulatory requirements around product data are met, as well as participating in audits and system validation.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as systems science or computer science.
• Has relevant work experience with master data, PIM, or complex information management.
• Has driven work related to automation and digitalization and has a solid, forward-looking mindset regarding how to apply AI tools to handle large data volumes.
• Has experience navigating complex environments with high volumes of flows; a background as a consultant in, for example, ERP or business-critical system environments is an advantage.
• Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English.
