Why this job is for you You want to work with advanced technical solutions within industry, energy, infrastructure, and safety-critical product development – areas where quality, robustness, and long-term sustainability are crucial.

Here, you will become part of a growing initiative within system solutions and technical expertise. We are building a strong competency area and a Center of Excellence where systems engineering, architecture, and compliance are central parts of the development.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work in complex and technically challenging environments
  • Be involved early in development processes and influence technical decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with experts across multiple technical disciplines
  • Contribute to solutions that meet high requirements for quality, safety, and traceability

Here, deep technical competence is combined with a broader systems perspective – always with a focus on sustainable and business-critical solutions.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Electrical Designer, you work with the development, further development, and changes of complex electrical systems and technical solutions.

You contribute throughout the entire development chain – from early concepts and technical investigations to integration, verification, and long-term system development.

The responsibilities may include, among other things:

  • Design and development of electrical systems
  • System architecture and technical decision-making
  • Requirements management as well as verification and validation
  • Risk and safety-related work
  • Integration and technical analysis
  • Work with standards, compliance, and traceability
  • Creation and further development of BES solutions and electrical architectures

You work closely with other technical areas such as software, mechanics, and production to ensure robust and sustainable solutions adapted to the needs of the business and customers.

Qualifications

We believe you have:

  • Approximately 10 years of experience in electrical design, electrical systems, or systems engineering
  • Experience working at the system level, not just detailed design
  • Good understanding of:
    • Electrical systems and/or electronics
    • System dimensioning and system architecture
    • Relevant standards and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with:
    • Requirements management
    • Verification and validation
    • Risk and safety-related activities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical solutions clearly

It is an advantage if you have experience within EMC/EMI, functional safety, or energy systems, as well as from regulated or safety-critical operations. We also view knowledge in system architecture, compliance, and BES systems positively. Experience with tools such as Elprocad, DOORS, SysML/MBSE, or MATLAB/Simulink is also considered an advantage.

Personal Qualities

We believe you are analytical, structured, and have strong systems thinking. You thrive in technically complex environments, enjoy collaborating with other disciplines, and have the ability to translate technical requirements into sustainable and practical solutions.
