About Barnens förskola

We are Barnens förskola (The Children's Preschool), as the name suggests. Our pedagogy is inspired by Montessori and is based on the children, their interests, and developmental levels. All activities are based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for the preschool, Lpfö18. Everything we do has a purpose and a pedagogical thought. We know that children can do incredibly much and that they are capable on their own. We support, encourage, and guide the children to manage as much as possible independently.

We focus heavily on our learning environments, which are built upon our trust in the children's competence. All materials are accessible to the children and have their specific place, so that the children themselves can take them out and put them away when they are finished. Our learning environments are also in constant change. This is partly to maintain the children's desire to explore, experience, and learn by having inviting and exciting environments, and partly because the children's interests change, which forms the basis for the design. We believe in a playful approach.

Job Responsibilities

The work involves organizing, planning, and leading pedagogical activities in the preschool, based on national and local governing documents. Together with colleagues, you, as a preschool teacher, are responsible for continuously following up, evaluating, and developing the activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a preschool teacher with a preschool teacher license. You have good collaboration skills and a high level of commitment to the work. You are receptive and innovative, responsible, and clear in your communication.

We also see that you have a desire to develop together with the work team and are interested in new knowledge and research within the field of preschool. Together, we build an activity where the child's development and learning are in focus.

Previous experience in the profession of preschool teacher is meritorious, but not a requirement.
