District Nurse at Årsta Health Centre – Opportunity for Remote Work

Welcome to Årsta Health Centre! We are currently looking for a motivated district nurse to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position with the possibility of working one day a week remotely. Start date and working hours are negotiable, and a probation period may apply.

Your Role

We are seeking someone who is eager to combine district nursing work at the health centre with the option of digital work from home. As a district nurse, you will have a varied role where you assess health issues and assist patients through direct contact at scheduled appointments, telephone advice, or e-services.

It is important that you are skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work efficiently, and that you are flexible in your approach. You will collaborate closely with fellow district nurses and other healthcare professionals at the health centre. We actively work to improve patient flow through triage and booking for all professions.

Tasks that can be handled remotely include telephone advice, 1177 e-services, and video visits. At Årsta Health Centre, we have started an exciting development project where some staff work part-time remotely. There is an opportunity for you to work one day from home and the rest of the time at the health centre.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed district nurse. Experience from primary care is meritorious but not required. Previous experience with the Cosmic system and telephone advice is considered an advantage.

Personal suitability is highly valued. We appreciate candidates who contribute to a positive work climate by being positive, flexible, and having good teamwork skills. At the same time, we look for someone who is self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Our Operations

Årsta Health Centre belongs to the Department of Close Care and Health at Uppsala County Council and is located in an expanding area just outside Uppsala city centre. We have approximately 15,500 registered patients and about 75 employees. All healthcare professions are represented here, and together we offer all services within the health centre's mandate. We work in teams, making the job both developmental and inspiring.
