We are currently looking for archivists with an interest in long-term preservation, cultural heritage, and helping our clients with long-term solutions in their information management. Responsibilities:

In this role, you will have a varied position where your tasks may include assisting our clients with both strategic and operational issues regarding digitalization and archive management. You will work with standard archival matters such as arranging and cataloging, updating records management plans, reviewing and revising classification structures, archive catalogs, and bringing order to clients' archives, whether analog or digital.

Your role also involves being a sounding board and support for the business in answering general archival questions and helping our clients in their daily, operational work. You will be a key person in the client's work with information management and will have unique opportunities to participate in developing and driving the client's archival work.

Your Profile

As a consultant at Public People, you will face a variety of tasks, all related to your specialist area. Our clients face different challenges, and you will have the opportunity to support them in optimizing and improving their archive and information management, both in the short and long term.

We are therefore looking for someone who is flexible, communicative, and has good teamwork skills. You are meticulous, structured, and good at prioritizing. You thrive in a dynamic work environment with many contact surfaces and varied tasks. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and have good pedagogical skills, as the work often requires knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

• University education in archival and information science equivalent to at least 60 ECTS credits
• At least 5 years of experience working independently as an archivist, preferably within the public sector
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written
