We are expanding our archive department with an archivist due to our upcoming move to new premises. Here, you will play a central role in an organization with many exciting areas of operation.

About the role

As an archivist, you will be part of the agency's archive function. Your main tasks will involve planning and preparing the agency's records for the move to new premises. Your duties also include responding to inquiries and handling other routine tasks managed by the archive function.

About you

To thrive here and excel in this role, you must be responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple issues simultaneously. We appreciate if you have the ability to lead and supervise others. Furthermore, you should be a good collaborator and thrive in a role where service orientation and strong communication skills are key to success. You should also have the ability to write and adapt texts according to the target audience.

We are looking for someone who has

  • A university degree with a Master's in Archive Science
  • Current experience with the case and file management system Public 360
  • Current experience with the archive catalog system Visual Arkiv
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have

  • Current experience handling complex inquiries and the release of public documents
  • Experience writing routines, implementation decisions, and archive descriptions

Good to know

This is a fixed-term position until 2027-08-31. Your job title will be Archivist, with your workplace located at our premises on Västerbroplan in Stockholm. In the spring of 2027, we will move to new premises in Solna Strand. Your job title will be Archivist, and you will be placed within the Registration Unit and the Department for Operational Support.
