Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an engaged and skilled Screen Operator. Our client is a forward-thinking company within renewable energy, and in this role, you will become a key person in their production team. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for daily operations. You will own the entire chain – from order and file handling to finished printing and post-processing.

The role involves rigging, calibrating, and operating industrial printing presses, as well as continuously quality-assuring and fine-tuning the processes. You take significant personal responsibility for product quality and process stability, which includes daily troubleshooting and close collaboration with other colleagues. Since production is managed according to LEAN principles, you will also be highly involved in the client's continuous improvement work.

Responsibilities

• Operation, monitoring, and setup of printing machines according to current instructions (SOP).
• Rigging, calibration, and registration settings to meet exact quality requirements.
• Material handling and loading of substrates.
• Meticulous quality control of print results and pattern registration.
• Daily maintenance and cleaning according to 5S standards.
• Troubleshooting during operational disruptions, root cause analysis, and reporting faults to technicians when necessary.
• Active participation in LEAN and Kaizen activities as well as deviation management.

Qualifications

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented person with experience in industrial graphic printing or functional printing (preferably screen printing). You have a genuine eye for quality and finish, as well as the ability to maintain a high production pace without compromising on details. Since you will be part of a small team at our client's site, your teamwork skills and positive drive are crucial for success in the role.

Background and qualifications:

• Education in printing technology or equivalent experience in graphic/functional industrial production.
• Experience with screen printing is highly advantageous.
• Background from a high-production environment in manufacturing industry.
• Good understanding of LEAN methodology.
• English, fluent in both spoken and written.
