We are now looking for a Junior Strategic Buyer to join our Nordic Sourcing Team in Malmö. Here you will have the opportunity to develop within procurement and work close to the business in a role where you collaborate with both internal functions and international suppliers.

About the role

As a Junior Strategic Buyer, you will support sourcing activities within our traded categories (Food & Consumer Health), focusing on cost-efficiency and contributing to value-creating solutions from a total perspective (TCO).

You will collaborate closely with Strategic Buyers and Senior Strategic Buyers, as well as several functions within the organization, contributing to ensuring structure, quality, and efficiency in our procurement work.

The role also involves acting as a key link between internal functions and external suppliers, ensuring clear communication, progress, and coordination in our projects and processes.

The role initially involves individual supplier responsibility, with a clear development path towards a larger and more independent category responsibility.

Your responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities within assigned categories
• Prepare RFQ/RFI documentation and collect supplier data
• Maintain item and supplier data in systems (e.g., M3, PIM)
• Support onboarding of new suppliers
• Handle and follow up on supplier-related issues and deviations
• Collect and structure data regarding prices, market, and spend
• Contribute to NPD projects (New Product Development) from a Sourcing perspective
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Midsona Planning, QA/Reg, Marketing, and Commercial teams

Experience and qualifications

Your background

• Relevant post-secondary education (e.g., procurement, Supply Chain, economics)
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience (internship or similar is advantageous)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Experience with business systems (e.g., M3) is advantageous
