Within the Health and Care Administration, you make a difference every day by working closely with people and creating a secure and meaningful daily life for the residents of Enköping. Together, we create safe and high-quality care and support for our citizens.

Located in the villa area at Gröngarnsåsen is Kungsgården. Kungsgården has 51 apartments distributed across five units. We have one unit with a Finnish focus, where the regular staff speaks Finnish. We have two dementia units, and it is to one of these units that we are now looking for a new employee.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with older people and appreciates social interaction in everyday life. As an assistant nurse in residential care, you will be a key person in our team. The tasks vary depending on the customer's need for help. In broad terms, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and support to our residents.
• Performing medical tasks according to delegation from a nurse.
• Collaborating with colleagues and other professional groups to ensure high quality of care.
• Contributing to a positive and developing work environment.
• Documenting and reporting according to current routines.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for you who have the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educated and graduated assistant nurse (send a certificate of the protected professional title with your application).
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. This is required to be able to converse with our customers and document in our systems.
• Can receive delegated work tasks from the responsible nurse.
• Takes initiative, starts activities, and achieves results.
• Collaborates well with other people and relates to them in a listening and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts in a constructive way.
• Is self-reliant and takes responsibility for your task. You structure and drive your work independently.
• Is service-oriented with interest, willingness, and ability to help others. You are attentive and accommodating in your treatment of others.

Experience working with people with dementia is meritorious as we are looking for an assistant nurse for one of our dementia units, as well as if you have previous experience working in a residential care facility.

Experience working actively as a representative, e.g., quality representative, is meritorious as we focus on quality work and our representative roles here at Kungsgården serve an important function.
