Responsible for Logistics & Procurement

Do you want to develop and lead a central function at a growing shipyard? We are now looking for an engaged and experienced leader for Logistics & Procurement who wants to take overall responsibility for our department while strengthening and further developing the procurement function within the operations.

In this role, you are responsible for leading, developing, and improving work within logistics and procurement for the entire shipyard. You have overall responsibility for the department, its processes, and personnel, with a special focus on strengthening the procurement part and ensuring efficient, sustainable, and business-oriented procurement processes.

You will become a key person in the organization, actively working with procurement, supplier contacts, improvement work, and the development of routines and working methods. At the same time, you are responsible for leading and distributing work within the department and creating efficient logistics flows that support the entire operation.

The role involves close collaboration with several parts of the business, and you ensure that the department develops in line with the shipyard's needs, focusing on quality, delivery security, and cost-effectiveness.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working within logistics and procurement
• Good understanding of procurement processes and supplier collaborations
• Previous experience as a leader or person in charge in the field
• Ability to lead and distribute work in a clear and engaging manner
• A structured approach and a strong focus on improvement
• A humble leadership style and a genuine desire to develop both people and processes

Swede Ship Marine is a newbuilding shipyard located in Djupvik on Tjörn, with roots dating back to 1894. We build special aluminum vessels for customers such as the Swedish Coast Rescue Society, the Swedish Coast Guard, and the Navy.
