We are now looking for an IT Architect within Infrastructure for a client within the defense sector in Linköping. As an IT Architect, you will become an important part of the work to develop and design future technical platforms. You will work closely with both business and technology in an environment where security, stability, and quality are central parts of everyday life.

You will belong to a team with several IT Architects where collaboration is strong and knowledge sharing is a natural part of the work. Here there is an opportunity to work within several different areas depending on your experience, interests, and ambitions.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze the business's requirements and needs.
• Design and develop solution proposals within the infrastructure area.
• Act as a technical advisor and support service managers and service owners.
• Prepare decision support materials for both technical and business choices.
• Ensure that solutions follow requirements, regulations, processes, and architecture principles.
• Document technical solutions and architectural decisions.
• Present and communicate solutions to different target groups and forums.
• Contribute to the development of modern infrastructure solutions within on-prem, hybrid, and cloud.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a great technical interest and are motivated by working in complex IT environments. You are communicative, unpretentious, and used to collaborating with different types of competencies and businesses.

You have experience from the infrastructure area and feel confident discussing both technical solutions and strategic choices. We also see that you have an interest in security and understand the importance of stable and sustainable IT solutions in security-critical environments.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience within IT, preferably in an architect role.
• Good experience of infrastructure solutions in larger environments.
• Experience of on-premises, hybrid, and cloud solutions.
• In-depth knowledge within infrastructure and technical platforms.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly.
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

Security clearance will be conducted before the start of the assignment.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this role.
