Särnmark's headquarters are located in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.

We are now looking for personal assistants for a customer living just outside Sundsvall.

If you are the right person for the assignment, you will have the opportunity for a full-time position.

About the job as a personal assistant

As a personal assistant, you become your customer's extended arms and legs – a reassuring presence that helps her live her life on her own terms. The tasks include, among other things, support with transfers, personal care, household chores, and activities in and outside the home. You assist and support the customer in everything in her daily life. Your workplace is where the customer is located, and your overall task is to assist the customer so that she has the conditions to live the life she desires. There are animals in the home, so you should not be allergic to fur-bearing animals.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities range from personal hygiene, assistance with transfers, household work, cooking, to assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home. The customer works some distance from home, and you get there by driving the customer's car, which requires you to have a valid driver's license. There are animals in the house that you help care for, so you cannot be allergic.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, sensitive, and quick to learn new tasks. You have good teamwork skills and easily build trust. You are calm, attentive, and have a professional attitude. You are interested in working closely and helping another person achieve the daily life they wish to live. At Särnmark, you always receive an introduction at the customer's home as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

About the employment

The form of employment is for a fixed term for as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the wage form is hourly pay. Working hours are 24-hour shifts with night standby with active supervision, both weekdays and weekends.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the Collective Agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
