Byggbeslag is a well-established company with roots dating back to 1957 and a strong position within the construction and property sector. The group has a turnover of approximately 800 MSEK, employs around 300 people, and is represented in 16 locations across Sweden. The operations are owned by the privately held investment company O.F. Ahlmark & Co Eftr AB.

Byggbeslag is organized into two business areas: Material Supply to, among others, the construction and property industry, as well as Locks & Security. Within the Locks & Security business area, the company works with functional solutions related to door environments, locks, fittings, access systems, alarms, and CCTV – often as an integrated part of larger construction projects.

Responsibilities

As a project manager at Byggbeslag, you drive several parallel contracting projects in Linköping and the surrounding area. You lead the work from start to finish, focusing on ensuring delivery according to set goals for time, cost, quality, and content. The role is operational and close to the business, with close dialogue with technicians in production as well as site visits in the region to drive the projects forward at the right pace. This involves travel, including overnight stays when necessary.

You have clear overall responsibility where you coordinate people, resources, and decisions to drive the projects in a structured and profitable manner. An important part of the role is to work proactively with the projects' economy, follow-up, and forecasts. You are also the primary contact person for the customer and responsible for ensuring that contracts, changes, and variations (ÄTA) are handled correctly.

Examples of tasks:

• Lead and coordinate contracting projects
• Responsible for the projects' economy, follow-up, forecast, and results
• Plan resources and support technicians in their daily work
• Responsible for the ongoing dialogue with customers and partners
• Handle changes, additions, and deductions (ÄTA) in a professional manner
• Ensure clear communication, progress, and structure in the projects

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Previous experience leading people in an operational environment within construction, contracting, or related technical operations
• Experience with economic responsibility, such as budget, forecast, or results
• Good system proficiency and experience with administrative systems
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it meritorious if you also have:

• Experience from the lock and security industry
• Knowledge of contracting law (AB/ABT)
• Knowledge of building and drawing theory
