Do you want to develop technology used in some of the world's most demanding industrial environments? At ReVibe Energy, you develop wireless sensors that help global industrial customers reduce downtime, optimize maintenance, and eliminate the need for battery changes and cabling.

We are now looking for an Embedded Developer who wants to work across the entire chain – from firmware and sensors to gateway solutions and integration with customers' industrial systems.

Your Role

At ReVibe Energy, you will become an important part of a small, product-oriented engineering team where you work closely with the CTO, colleagues in electronics and mechanics, as well as the support and sales teams. In some projects, you will also have contact with customers to understand their needs and how the products are used in real-world scenarios.

This is a broad role where you work closely with both hardware, software, and product development. You will both further develop existing products and contribute to shaping new sensor solutions all the way to the market.

This is a role for you who likes breadth. You will work closely with sensor development while also contributing to further developing the gateway platform as the company grows.

In the role, you will among other things:

• develop firmware for new and existing sensor products
• contribute to developing new sensor products from prototype and verification all the way to finished products with the customer
• further develop communication between sensor, gateway, and customer systems
• strengthen and further develop ReVibe's Linux-based gateway platform
• work with testing, debugging, and optimization of products in demanding industrial environments

You work in a technical environment where you develop firmware in Embedded C for microcontrollers and work closely with Zephyr RTOS in the sensor products. You will also work with ReVibe's Linux-based gateway platform, where embedded Linux and Debian are important parts of the environment. The products communicate with customers' systems via various integration interfaces. Work related to connectivity, testing, and robust communication between sensor, gateway, and customer systems is also an important part of the role.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have at least a few years of experience in embedded development and who thrive in the borderland between software and hardware. You are confident in programming in C and like to work closely with microcontrollers, firmware, and systems where code meets physical products.

You have a broad technical foundation in embedded development and have over time built deeper competence in an area where you are truly strong. Your specialty can, for example, lie within firmware, embedded Linux, gateway development, connectivity, wireless communication, or other hardware-near development.

You are used to working in large codebases and feel comfortable debugging deeply – both in your own code and in underlying libraries, drivers, and systems. You thrive near hardware and understand the interplay between software and electronics. Experience working closely with circuit boards, electronics, or bring-up of new hardware is a merit.

Experience with Linux, RTOS, wireless communication, signal processing, or other hardware-near development within connected IoT products is a merit. If you have also worked closely with electronics or in a lab environment, it is a plus.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
