The Internal Medicine Clinic is organized under the inpatient care at Arvika Hospital. Here you will find specialist physician clinics and nurse-based clinics within cardiology, diabetes, rheumatology, gastroenterology, allergy, AK clinic, and the Diagnostic Center, as well as day-care beds.

Doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants work at the clinic. We collaborate based on our different competencies to ensure the patient receives the best care and a positive reception. For us at the clinic, a good work environment, participation, engagement, and well-being are important.

Development and improvements are a natural part of our work to provide safe and professional patient care. We have good cooperation between the units at the hospital, and our goal is always to give the patient the right care in the best possible way.

Your responsibilities

You will work together with nurses and doctors in teams, as well as have your own clinic within gastroenterology and rheumatology. Work in other parts of the clinic may also become relevant.

The work at the clinic mainly consists of assisting our patients with support and counseling based on their respective conditions, administering treatment, and following up on treatment effects, quality indicators, and the patients' well-being.

As a nurse at the internal medicine clinic, you collaborate with other professions such as dietitians, social workers, and physiotherapists. Collaboration with the hospital's care units is a given. The extent of employment can possibly be discussed.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and interested in driving and developing our clinic.

To succeed in the role, you need to be structured and have the ability to plan, execute, and follow up on work over a longer period. You should be able to work both independently and in teams, and have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Great importance is placed on personal qualities such as teamwork skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude towards patients and colleagues.
