Our Operations

Medical Ward 1 has 24 beds. We treat patients with diagnoses in the field of internal medicine, with a main focus on cardiology. We have 14 telemetry beds for heart monitoring. Here, you will gain broad experience and the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of internal medical conditions and treatments. We often have a large and fast patient flow since most patients arrive via emergency care. Being a nurse here is an exciting job where you will meet people in many different situations with various disease diagnoses. Doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists work on the ward.

As a nurse, you work in a team with nursing assistants. There are doctors as well as physio- and occupational therapists linked to the team. On the ward, there is a senior nurse who acts as a mentor for our new nurses, and a discharge nurse who handles discharge and social planning for patients connected to municipal care. We also have a bed coordinator who takes all incoming calls during office hours on weekdays and acts as a hub in the network. We offer a structured introduction planned according to your needs and experience. As part of your introduction, KULE is included. This provides in-depth knowledge and prerequisites for a good start in your new professional role as a nurse. The training constitutes 20% of your working hours during the first year with maintained salary.

Your Qualifications and Competence

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in cardiac care. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and has a positive attitude. It is important that you enjoy working in a structured and efficient manner and have the ability to adjust your work pace when needed. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities.
