About the role:

In your role as a Service Technician at Bilbolaget, you will become a key player in the service process and an important part of their workshop team. You will work in a state-of-the-art workshop equipped with modern tools and technology. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and quality control of various types of vehicles – primarily passenger cars, but also light trucks and motorhomes. With your expertise, you will play a crucial role in creating safe and satisfied customers who are eager to return to Bilbolaget.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics on vehicles.
• Executing service and repair work according to work orders.
• Reviewing and approving work orders before invoicing.
• Post-repair checks and test drives to ensure quality.
• Maintaining an organized workspace and contributing to order in shared areas.
• Building long-term customer relationships through professional and positive customer interaction.

Working hours are daytime, Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00. Flexible working hours Monday–Thursday may be possible in consultation with your direct manager.

Your profile:

To succeed and thrive in this role, we are looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant automotive technical education and documented experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Has a valid B-category driver's license.
• Has a burning interest in automotive technology and service.
• Is meticulous, structured, and quick to learn new instructions.
• Has strong administrative and communication skills, as well as good computer literacy.
