ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant on up to 100% for our client in Örnsköldsvik. There may also be an opportunity to work after the summer.

Working hours that occur:

• 07:45 - 20:30 weekdays
• 10:00 - 20:30 weekdays
• 10:00 - 18:00 weekends

Start date is by agreement, and we would like you to be able to start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 12-year-old girl who lives about 10 minutes from central Örnsköldsvik with her family. As her personal assistant, you will be an important support in her daily life, and be there to help where her disability sets limits. Your tasks include, among other things, helping her with meals, hygiene, communication, and motivating her to exercise and play. She usually gets around with the help of a walker and with your support. The work shifts are mainly located in the home environment, but it is a task where you get a lot of freedom and where the two of you can find fun things to do even outside the home. Furthermore, the client likes when things happen around her and appreciates a time in the playground just as much as you reading a book to her.

Our client is looking for you who are happy, positive, and sensitive to others' needs. To thrive in the role, you have the ability to work independently and can take initiative. In return, you are offered stimulating work in a family-like work environment. Some transfers, such as in and out of a wheelchair, occur in the service, so you should not have any back or shoulder problems. We prioritize personal suitability.

• Driver's license and access to a car
• Not allergic to pets

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with children through work, school, or privately
• Experience with picture support (PECS)

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreement.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
