Our Operations

At the Center for Imaging and Functional Medicine (BFC) at Akademiska Sjukhuset, we work with advanced MRI, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, and conventional radiological diagnostics, as well as advanced interventional diagnostics and treatment. The operations are conducted both on an emergency and planned basis, and we are staffed 24/7.

The Media Unit provides administrative support to our radiologists and referring physicians. We ensure that ward management is ready before each ward round, linking reports to images from external referrers. We import images from USB/CD/links into our system and/or send them to other hospitals. We maintain contact with insurance companies and other external parties.

Your Role

We are currently looking for a replacement as one of our employees is retiring. We are seeking someone who wants to work as administrative support, positively and actively influencing the development of our unit and within BFC. In the future, you will be our contact person for Medical Imaging regarding development work.

Your duties will include, among other things:

• Dictating radiology reports
• Transcribing external reports
• Standard secretarial tasks
• Handling referrals
• Ward management
• Separate billing
• Linking images
• Importing images from USB/CD/links
• Quality work with referrals

You will be a crucial link in the workflow for the entire BFC.

You will work in our internal system WIM and also use systems such as the medical record system Cosmic, PACS, and Telerad. The work involves contact with referring departments/external hospitals, and you will collaborate closely with our referrers both internally and externally, as well as with other professional categories within our operations.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a Nursing Assistant (Undersköterska) with proof of a protected professional title. You have good technical knowledge and are a proficient user of Cosmic, WIM, and PACS/Telerad, as well as the Office package. As a person, you are meticulous, structured, communicative, and service-oriented. A good attitude towards patients and colleagues is of utmost importance.

What We Offer

We offer a permanent position with a 100% scope. You will be employed on a rotational basis but will primarily work days with occasional evenings/weekends. A probationary period may apply.
